I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I have the Japanese keyboard (フリック入力) installed on my phone alongside the qwerty keyboard, and previously when I would answer questions in the question corner or play shiritori I would be able to switch between keyboards like in any other application. But now every time I try to do that it just closes and doesn't let me switch anymore. I've checked my other apps (Google, Google translate, Whatsapp etc.) and I can switch between keyboards just fine on them. I've tried restarting my phone and everything, but I still can't switch keyboards in renshuu. Is anyone else having the same problem?
renshuu (the app) doesn't really have access to those keyboards, so that's really odd. From my (the app's) perspective, I have no idea what keyboard is being used - all the app receives is input into the various text fields in the app.
It's quite odd indeed! Interestingly, when my phone is in portrait mode the only way to switch keyboards is by holding the spacebar (which is when the problem occurs). But I just switched to landscape mode and the globe icon appeared on my keyboard, and I can switch between keyboards IN renshuu just fine by tapping it!
