I rather like the "with extra readings" variant of the Match the Readings question type for Kanji reading quizzes. Currently, the question is marked as correct as long as you assign at least one correct reading and no wrong readings to each kanji, which often leaves me wondering whether the readings I left unassigned were decoys or additional options for one of the quizzed kanji. It might be nice to display an extra "hey, you forgot 生→セイ" text message, or otherwise highlight the readings that were included in the question in the post-answer dictionary boxes.
And what I'd like to see might look something like this additional box inserted between the "you've answered correctly" box and the dictionary excerpts (please pretend that およ.び reads およ.ぶ; I copy/pasted the wrong reading while sketching this):
This would make it clear to me that I should have also dragged およ.ぼす onto 及, and から.い onto 辛.
Thinking about it some more, maybe this should be within the "you've answered correctly" box, above the "Mark wrong" button (moving the tick onto that line as well, similar to how correct answers to sentence questions are acknowledged in vocab quizzes). I'm also unsure how readable the green/orange differentiation is with red/green color-blindness; maybe tweaking the shades so the brightness difference is more significant, using different border styles, or just hiding the green underline for "this was correct and you got it" readings would be appropriate.
