I just cleared my Japanese Basics schedule and added the Beginner Japanese schedules (Words, Sentences, Kanji, etc) and I found the Kanji Basics lesson to be helpful, but potentially lacking if that's the only explainer.

Is there a Beginner Kanji lesson after Basics or is the Kanji Basics lesson all I need to know at this point?

The only things missing that you might find out later anyway, is stuff like rendaku, and some non-kanji or non-standard kanji. The latter is rare and not much to worry about. You just only would need to know how they function. It's basically pretty complete other than what I mentioned. That is it.

Overall, this is not that deep. They're just words. Nothing is special about them themselves under that subject. The rest of it is just gonna be related to grammar, which is then already covered the rest of the time. You have nothing to worry about.
