Since all shiritori terms must come from renshuu's dictionary I imagine there aren't many words with ゑ available. Hence them playing the same word all the time.

does the word end in ゑ？ Otherwise I don't really see what the problem is.

P.S. the only word I could find was ゑびす. How the f* does one even get to play the word.

I went ahead and blocked a few that I could find.

Someone finally played an あ, but I can’t tell if it’s working or not yet.

Did the game automatically end after you played that, or is it still live and I just can’t see it?

So looks like nothing has changed (I’ve never seen もゑ played). Maybe Michael’s fix only applies to new games.

I played アマビヱ yesterday and someone else played ゑびす after that.

PS: I assume もゑ doesn't work because, unlike アマビヱ, its Kana field doesn't contain ゑ/ヱ (it's もえ).

Alright, I had mismarked those two terms (did not block them as I thought I had). Should be good now.
