so if you set quiz size to be not too large when reviewing in general, say 30, but then decide to do focused review of words you learned today, say it's 80, you will still get quiz size of 30. I solve this issue by setting quiz size to 500 when creating the focus review, but I think maybe a warning if the focused review "filter" is larger than quiz size?
