When trying to bind a sentence with any form of ことにする, the 事にする variant won't be available, only 異にする will (even when typing in the kanji). Example sentences, that I'd expect to exist, aren't visible either.
Try ことにする again, see if it's any better. It may not be fixed, but I did try a small thing. There is still a bug, though, that I've never gotten around to, that in some cases, it'll default over to one choice and not present the other one as an option.
