I'm working on translating the Japanese manga that I'm currently reading, but no matter how many ways I try to configure it in my head, I can't see this phrase making any sense kao_think.png

Any ideas? kao_sorry.png

This is from chapter one of となりのくん right? It means something like "What are you... some kind of spy (sent) from school?"

てめえ = rough way of saying "you"
しもん =( 回し者 ) — a "plant" or "spy" sent by someone

For anyone interested, you can check it out here: https://pocket.shonenmagazine.... - completely legaly (official and ran by Kodansha). Free up to chapter 7, +8 with a daily ticket.

Edit: Found the official translation: "What are you... a spy from school?"
