掲示板 Forums - Always show kanji setting not working

I have always used the setting "Show kanji for words commonly written in hiragana" but for some reason this has stopped working, and numerous terms have reverted to kana-only display. I have not changed any related settings between it working and it not working.

No idea what the cause may be, but I much-prefer studying with all kanji, because of things like いる vs いる (居る vs 要る) among the benefits of knowing the full written forms of terms.
