Forums - Why do japanese break up SNS posts with new lines

Ive seen this a lot but Japanese posts, comments, etc. will be broken up with new lines (sometimes after a sentence and sometimes after a word in the middle of a sentence). Why do they do this and should I be doing this? How do I know where to break it up without looking like a noob at this

Any examples, videos etc would be helpful (Japanese-language / け videos 🆗️ as well), thank you!

I'd never really though about it. I think they just kinda break things up by phrases, not just words.

For your example I'd do:

ぶとしたら

こうなることは

です

Feels the most logical to me, idk. Is that what you mean?

Hey! Thanks for the reply

Haha sometimes it feels like they're writing poetry when they do that. Then again now that I look closer actually trying to find these kinds of posts, I don't actually see this happening a lot so maybe it just had enough of an impression on me that it seemed like it was everywhere x_x

That being said it could be the people that sound like weirdos so I'll try not to overcopy that after all lol

Cheers🙌🏻
