I have a question, please! I haven't done any serious German practice in a looooooooooooooong time, but I do well in Japanese. So, I thought I'd incorporate both of them so that I could force German in without noticing it... How can I incorporate both of them? Any ideas, my sweet family?

- Watch anime (or Japanese shows) with German subtitles or dubbing. Ur brain's tuned into Japanese already, so by replacing your usual English subs with German ones, you're learning vocab and sentence structure in context—effortlessly. Try crunchyroll
To make it easier, rewatch shows you already know to lower the cognitive load.
- Keep a casual journal where : You write your thoughts in japanese then you translate into German..
- Maybe make german ur japanese assistant
- Use AI as a Language Buddy 😄
- Replace your usual Japanese-English dictionary with a German-Japanese one. Example: Use JMdict with German glosses on apps like Takoboto or Midori.
- 🗣️ Inner Monologue Game ----> When you think in Japanese, force yourself to rephrase in German right after. Quick, low-effort brain training throughout your day.

One of my platy fish is getting a slight bend in its tail and it is slowly trying to move forward but it is leaning downwards.
Oh no, poor little guy 😞....
- It could be due to Swim Bladder Disorder as it caused them to swim awkwardly, sink / float uncontrollably or lean to one side.
- A slight bend in the tail could point to a developing spinal issue, which can be genetic, as its caused by poor water quality/ maybe an infection
- If its also losing weight, not eating, or has stringy poop
, parasites are likely.
- even a small spike in ammonia or nitrites can seriously mess with a fish’s nervous system, leading to balance issues or body stress.
Look for these signs

Stringy poop (parasites)
Frayed fins
Rapid breathing
Bloating Wounds or red spot
Solutions :
- Make it fast for 1 Day : If it’s a swim bladder issue, feeding can make it worse.
- Isolate the Fish (Optional but Helpful) - Helps reduce stress and lets you monitor its behavior and poop more closely.
- Most important : Test Your Water!!!
Use a test kit : Ammonia: should be 0; Nitrite: should be 0; Nitrate: ideally under 20-40 ppm; pH: should be stable (usually 7–8 for platies)
if ur really into fishes and aquariums then I would highly suggest you to buy it
If ammonia or nitrite is above 0, do a 30–50% water change immediately.
- Look into meds like PraziPro or API General Cure.
