Thats right, in the beginning you don't need to focus too much on pitch accent yet. However I think you could already learn just the very basics of the 4 pitch patterns (atamadaka, nakadaka, odaka, heiban). There are some vidéos about it on YouTube and multiple websites that explains it. And then, when you are learning terms, you can try to pronounce them with the right pitch accent so it will stick into your head (I'm doing this and it works pretty well

). But you should be aware that pitch accent in a full sentence differs from the pitch accent of a single word (There are also a few yt videos about it).
On top of this you can do shadowing. You watch a video in japanese and at the same time you repeat what they say without pausing it. But in order to do this properly, your ear has to get used to hearing the pitch accent

And by shadowing you can also improve your intonation, but pitch accent and intonation are two different things.
Anyways you shouldn't worry too much about it yet.

I learned about pitch accent pretty late and until then my pronunciation was poop, but it improved a lot since then!
