The only feature that’s missing in renshuu for me to fully transition away from jpdb is having pre-made decks/lists I can measure my progress against. Is this a feature that’s planned for the near future?
I'm not really sure what you mean by pre - made but have you tried checking in community lists for schedules?
On jpdb you have pre-made decks/lists for most anime, books, comics, etc. It’s a really cool feature because you can check what’s your coverage for specific media and also study words that are contained in whether media you’re consuming.
You would find things like that in community lists. You'd have to search for the specific thing your looking for there.
If it doesn't exist already, you can make a new Community list and share it with others. You can use the Text Analyzer as a tool to extract words to make the job of creating the list easier.
Seconding the Text Analyzer. Find it in the Tools section of the menu.
With the Text Analyzer you drop in any text you have (like a subtitle file, ebook chapter, etc.), and it will parse it out and tell you what the approximate difficulty level it is and what percentage of the words/kanji/grammar you've already studied. If you're also a Renshuu Pro user, you can make study lists out of the results.
