Look! I hope you really listen to me because my school years are over and I have all the experience of every story each one of you talks about. Your question was a constant pain of mine. It was just my daily life at school. But the reaction depends on the recipient. I chose to step away from this (no exaggeration) black hole. I call it that because it's depressing to no end if you step in and give in to it. The option is... yeah good guessing... choosing loneliness, BUT not in your case. You are much luckier than I was. When I chose to step out, I found nothing but loneliness, simply because I had neither a phone nor Internet, hence absolutely no one and nothing. On the other hand, if you choose to step out, you have all the possibilities to merge in another world/space of your own making. You may not understand the true value of your own phone or tablet, but I do because I recently got MY OWN device. I know how it was without and how it has become with. Your and my device are a whole world. Like you are a part of my world, we are a part of yours. Dive in it and forget all others, and you will be more than fine. Trust my experience!

I do actually need to hang out with them though. Most of the time, they boost my self esteem and help me feel happier and healthier.
