Exactly a year ago i was in the plane to japan for my first visit. I had a tiny little appartment for the month i was there, just a few stops from Ikebukuro in Itabashi. That way i had a space which was "home" while i was there. I also visited a friend in Osaka, and did a bunch of day-trips and hikes. Besides all the usual touristy stuff, i also went to see a whole lot of bands. I love live music, and there's a massive music scene, not just the superstars we hear about in the west, but all the small bands which play in livehouses for 50 or 100 people.

I very much want to visit again. Maybe in late summer or autumn for the prime hiking season. Or in winter to go skiing. Or just anytime to go see even more bands.

There is too many things I love about Japan.

Hot Springs or (おんせん) complimentary in hotels sometimes

Almost all of the Kawaii stuff there (I'm looking at chiikawa)

Tokyo and Osaka with all my merch shopping (and my shopping budget is gone within 2 hours...)

Fukuoka and the scenery there as well as Marine world with dolphin shows that I go to every time when I am in the area.

Hokkaido and it's milk icecream (even though you can get it at any 7 eleven or a lawsons) and snow in mid January

I have been many times and I love cherry blossom season there (even though it is terrible for hay fever people)

Anyway, my most favourite thing is the covinience stores. Everything is cheap and you can live off the 500 yen dollar bento boxes and there are sometimes 700-1000 yen lottos with popular animes such as Ferrien and it also has necessities such as tissue boxes and as a tourist, I lived of those each time I visited.

There is too many things to love in Japan (except for the working conditions and low wages I heard of)
